Roskilde Business College has a long and proud tradition that combines excellence with a dynamic and innovative culture. Founded in 1869, the college has been an important part of the educational sector in Roskilde for more than a century. Over the past 50 years, we have also become an important player in the Danish educational sector, attracting students from all over the country.

An independent, self-governing organisation subject to the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Roskilde Business College is a Vocational Education and Training Institution, offering both theoretical and vocational programmes of high professional and pedagogical quality in business studies. Courses range from basic vocational training to upper-secondary level and higher education programmes.

Through our constant endeavours to meet the increasing global demands from the business sector for high-quality education and training, Roskilde Business College has also become more and more attractive for international students. This is strengthened by Roskilde’s close proximity to Copenhagen, the Danish capital – only 20 minutes away by train. Through our International Student Centre we allocate a lot of resources and attention to catering for international students and their special needs, and our aim is to be among the best in Denmark in this field. In recent years, Roskilde Business College has been involved in several international projects in Europe, the US, Canada and Australia. As from January 2009 Roskilde Business College is a part of ZIBAT, Zealand Institute of Business and Technology. Roskilde Business College will be the Roskilde Campus of ZIBAT and we anticipate that the partnership will strengthen the future competitive situation for Roskilde Business College.
